Former Fianna Fail TD omits 5,000 pound payment from Tribunal

Former Fianna Fail TD Ms Marion McGennis testified that she signed a questionnaire from the Tribunal stating that she never accepted a corrupt payment and attested that a IR £1,400 pound donation (coupled with other costs) by Frank Dunlop was the largest she ever received.

When Dillon SC put it to her that about this time she also received a payment of 5000 pounds from John Corcoran and Green Properties prior to the June elections in 1991. Ms McGennis replied: As I understood it the Inquiry was interested in payments from Frank Dunlop only.
